OCULUS
QUEST

PROJECT DETAILS:

Tech: C#, Unity

I collaborated with a team in the development of an application that consisted of making use of headtracking, hand tracking, voice commands and haptic feedback, for the interpretation of nursing procedures into Virtual Reality for health care education and training with Unity.

In the project I was required to engage in different tasks, I had to conduct my research into how to implement different required interactions intuitively and comfortably. I had to create scripts when required to enable the integrations of certain actions withing the application, in addition to that I had to add, modify, or remove block of codes to existing scripts. In many simulations I had to work on animations in a manner that satisfied the requirements. I was able also to use my previous experience to make or edit models in the project.

The simulations were deployed to the android‑based Oculus Quest all‑in‑one platform, currently for a limited alpha release. The application is not currently available to the public, the link to the Learning innovation team website at the Open University, (owner) is provided for further information.
